No one filed a grievance against John; no one displayed a temper tantrum by swearing and clearing their desktop of stuff; and no one swore at him. People laughed and had fun and generally seemed like they wanted to be there. It was definitely better than his first week at the college a little over a year and a half ago.
They are also going to help pay for the accounting courses he will need for the job - half up front and the remainder when he completes and passes the courses. That's great since we're still paying for his MDiv. He's also enjoying test driving the toys (like a $70,000 truck). There are other benefits that he'll enjoy as well, but right now the positive work environment is so good and so important. We are so thankful ... (and hopeful).
