We have summer plans!

It's been a couple of years since we could actually sit down and make some plans, instead of flying by the seat of our pants. So we made some plans. We're not going on a big trip or anything; we're focusing on the house and yard. Today John ordered lumber for his new bookshelves, lumber to fix the fence and panelling for one wall in the study. I have to get busy and paint the room. Then he can build the shelves and unpack his books. It will be good to have his office set up properly.

In the first week of July John N will be going to Redberry for Little Boots Camp and Josh will be at Art Camp in Saskatoon in the afternoons. The second week, I will be at accreditation seminars while the boys will attend VBS. After that we head home to relax, have swimming lessons and for me to get ready for school. We'll enjoy having some company and going to Alberta to do our school shopping.

The yard will hopefully be functional for the boys to enjoy by the time we get back in July. We've broken up some lawn and prepped the garden for top soil and grass. Next year, if we don't go to Ontario we'll break up some sod for a garden.

So it's not much, but it's a plan. Yeah! And no one is falling out of a tree this year.

Hi, Annette. Sounds like you've got some good plans. We have renovations to do at our place too . . . not that we want to--we have to due to water damage caused by numerous problems that took place a few months back. And congratulations on your job, too!

I hope you get a chance to enjoy your boys this summer, too.
